hell, there's fucking giant 3 foot long centipedes with one of the most painful insect stings known to man in Hawaii, and coral reefs / volcanic rocks that are fucking SHARP / venomous urchins etc in a lot of their coastlines, and that doesn't stop them lmao

being barefoot is so culturally prominent in Hawaii that they literally have restaurants that say "no shirt? no shoes? no problem!" (instead of no service)

I wear slippers inside typically at night but during the day yeah I’m in shoes.

 

It’s unbelievably expensive to do a kids bday party anywhere. This year we are doing a trampoline park and for ten kids plus him it’s 375 for two hours.

last year we had like 20+ kids over and I rented a bounce house for six hours for $400.

 

Can't you just like rent a pavillion / gazebo at a local park and have an outdoor picnic or something? That kinda thing shouldn't matter how many or how few kids or there, if you're really trying to host 50 of them lol
