It looks to me right now like Biden is in a very tough spot and pretending that isn't the case doesn't seem like it helps either him or us very much

I do not agree with his methods or really anything he says or does and think he is completely and utterly despicable as a human being and one of the worst presidents the country has ever had and the fact that he was at the helm for a major pandemic and the damage he did in politicizing masks and vaccines is a tragedy for the human race the scale of which is almost incomprehensible. I also wouldn't say he is particularly good at campaigning. he is better at it than Biden though.

Alright I’m going back to blocking blue checks on sight again. My two main accounts got banned and I had relentlessly blocked every blue check I could on them and having to do it again on my third account sounded daunting so I wanted to let it fly for a bit and see what happened and I can’t take it anymore


Also the most random combative right wing culture war accounts randomly get put in my for you every day it’s insane

 

Every once in a while Musk pops back up in my feed and I generally will click the tweet and look at the immediate replies and just start blocking accounts lol. I'm too lazy to go further than 10-15 at a time but still

 

I am liking Bluesky more and more....a lot more folks moved over there. but the lack of sports and entertainment accounts on there hurts. It's mostly just politics/news and jokes/memes.

 

yeah the last thing I need is a website that’s just politics. my twitter feed is a mix of jokes, music, gaming, and sports with politics sprinkled in unless I’m forced to see some stuff against my will which is kind of how the website treats politics. like oh you’re having a nice day here’s a guy who hates black people talking about running over protestors or whatever

 

Man I really almost never see anything like that on my Twitter. Like I’ll see people responding to political stuff but I’m not getting fed anything of that sort

I haven’t gone on a blocking binge in a while now, but every once in a while, yeah, I’ll see like one or two just completely, offensively insulting, unhinged tweets from blue check accounts so I just start going at it again. I checked my blocked list a while ago to see how many I’ve blocked over the last year. I’m currently somewhere over 5,000. And knowing that’s just a drop in the bucket…Jesus Christ.

 

Pretty sure there is a chrome extension or something that blocks all blue check accounts as they appear on your timeline. It’s customizable to only block blue checks you don’t follow and other stuff too I think. I don’t use it or remember what it’s called tho so I’m of no help there.

 

Accounts I don’t follow with that kind of content are shoved into my for you constantly but this account I’m using has only been active for the last few months and was dormant for years so I’m probably getting fed generic stuff any brand new account with no data behind their preferences behind it would get fed. like when a fresh YouTube account gets daily wire in their recommended videos

Absurdist Twitter on here scratches every itch I’ve ever had for Twitter and then some.

 

If you don’t want to see political shit on Twitter, don’t follow political accounts. Simple as that.

I still love Twitter because it’s my main source for sports and entertainment…because that’s all I follow.

The only batshit crazy posts I see are in this thread.

 

I held out long enough to not have Twitter before Elon took it no way in hell am I joining now
