If I ever bought a house with money to like modify it and have it in a decent area etc… the hope would be that I stay in it and checking local codes to see if I can have a pool would be a necessity haha

 

you have to factor in the insane labor cost of an in ground pool compared to an above ground pool. they are not remotely the same price.

 

Plus there's the risk of the sitcom scenario of your spouse banging the pool boy

As someone who grew up with an above ground pool. Kids don’t care. Any body of water is fun, but having one in your own backyard is triple fun.

 

I hate to interrupt the pool talk, but I must report some truly shocking news. Truly surprised and stunned by this. Never could have predicted it at all.
