I was on the top floor of that apartment building (2nd floor obviously) and the roof leaked, creating this giant water bubble/boob in my ceiling at one point that eventually burst while I was at work and it took them like a month to fix.

 

Took forever to save up and buy that Epiphone Les Paul Special for like $200

 

It's probably $600 now

 

my old boss at this job told me that he would use his Chase card for everything he bought then just pay off the bill each month, which I understand is the responsible thing to do, but I have never been in a situation where that was possible

 

My current Epiphone SG was $600 so maybe a bit less

Lol my first job out of school was paying me 28k a year. I felt like I was a BILLIONAIRE when in reality I just lucked into cheap rent that still required a 1.5 hour commute into the city every day haha

 

I was probably making $12 or $13 an hour at that job but the commission was incredible to my younger self.

worst part was the scheduling was all based on seniority so my friend and I worked pretty much nothing but 11-8 or 12-9 every day

 

I think i was paid something around 11-12/hr as a team lead at target back in like 2008. still couldnt afford to move out. stuck living at home and dealing with parents who decidedly did not want me there lol.

 

would probably _ _ _ if I went back to apple retail 11-8 / 12-9 life again

 

Met with our financial planner this morning. Looks like my kids are paying for their own college, but we'll have a solid retirement. Win some, lose some.
