They announced dates of May 2026, Dec 2026, and Dec 2027 for future Star Wars films previously. Everyone thought it would be the Rey film first but they just announced Mando and Grogu for the May 2026 date today.

Well, I’ll still stick with what I’ve said before, I’ll believe it when we see an actual trailer with footage.

i believe they mean “our” og Crosshair, and are theorizing that Hemlock has made more copies of him/his “defects” vs the standard Jango formula for these CX Clones.

 

Correct. I mean the Crosshair we originally met in Clone Wars season 7 and Bad Batch S1E1. I think Hemlock essentially made copies of a defective copy (Crosshair) of Jango. Either this CX assassin is the “original” Crosshair and the Crosshair with our Bad Batch is one of the copies of a copy, or vice versa. That’s my theory based on the shaky hand of Crosshair and the precision of the CX assassin.

 

I don’t believe we have seen any clones come with memories in anyway. So I find the one back with the group to not be the OG highly unlikely. I could see the special trooper being a clone of Crosshair, I guess. But that again would lead to Hemlock also making a clone age even faster if he cloned him on Tantis.

The show could reveal a new aspect or method of cloning. That’s totally a possibility. But I’m going to guess that won’t happen. Based on what we have seen about the clones and the cloning process, I just don’t buy such a change happening at this point in the show.

We shall see three weeks from now either way.

Looks great. Hope it ends up as good as it looks. Happy to see Qi’ra and Crimson Dawn stuff from the comics move to other media.

 

Looks fun and I like that it has a lot of characters from the films. That said, the facial animation for the main character looks unfinished. Real uncanny look they have going on.

 

My hot take is that if Bad Batch were live action it'd be getting the same amount of gas as Andor. Just masterful tension-building, twists, and plotting. Love this show.
