Grew up always kind of "sneering" at wrestling but grew to just let it be over time.

not really sure why i turned it on rn, but figured fuck it, dont feel like gaming tonight

 

Wrestling is great if you accept that it’s carney and ridiculous and absurd lol

 

Yeah I stopped watching from like 2009 until maybe 2013 or 2014, WWE had several blah years for awhile but like I said they’re in their biggest boom in a long time right now. I don’t watch the weekly tv but I tune in for the big shows like this (but I do watch their competitor AEW every week - it’s a different flavor so to speak)

Yeah I remember reading David Shoemaker’s book a long time ago and he starts by talking about how 99% of wrestling fans are in on the bit
