Wrestling is drag. Presentation, costuming, and large personalities. It shares many traits of drag. Seth’s entrance look is something I’d see at a pageant.

This is coming from someone who is in the drag community.

 

I also get a lot of David Bowie vibes from Becky’s look and its awesome

 

This has been true from Brawl Out. He got FTR to dread it up on their podcast when he wanted out; and again around when collision was announced. And obviously the jack perry stuff is endless from him while AEW has been avoiding it

That said I hope it’s this. We need more things like fake Kane or Gillberg, NCM punk is probably the perfect person to target for that kind of mockery

I’m all for dunking on Punk even tho I’ve softened on him slightly since his WWE return. I thought he was always extremely overrated in his first WWE run. Didn’t really care for what he did in AEW. I like AEW but like WWE more. I also think it’s fun to dunk on TK…. So all that preface aside

what does releasing the footage even accomplish? Those that are wwe diehards aren’t going to care. The AEW diehards are already on their side. And the other 80% of WWE audience doesn’t even know AEW exists. I can’t wait to see the fallout though

haha to be fair he said something like "juiced up", realized it and froze and Corey saved him, i think he truly just picked the worst possible word to use and noticed when it was halfway out his mouth. source: that is me all of the time

 

also, gotta say, i do not mind Pat on commentary. he seems like he genuinely has a blast in the chair and after living through late aughts and 2010s WWE... it'll take a lot for him to reach those lows.

Watched 2 hours last night and 2 hours this afternoon. Just really fucking good all round… apart from the Uso match of course.

That bit before the IC match with Zayn’s wife, kid, Chad and KO got me all kinds of emotional, so glad the match delivered and he won too.

 

He’s just an excitable douchebag and I love him for it haha. He’s probably the worst person possible in real life, but he’s enthusiastic and it works for him.

 

Still working my way through Stand and Deliver. Really love what they did with Roxanne/Lyra. Surprised they had Lyra tap but I’m always team Roxanne. She’s gonna be a star
