I never had seasonal depression until the last few years and it fucking sucks.

Not all of us can just swap our allegiances!

 

Used to think I lived in one of the few places where violent storms, natural disasters, etc didn't happen. But now that we're getting earthquakes more regularly I've got to be careful how I joke about tornadoes.

I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL

 

Pittsburgh is great. No earthquakes, no volcanos, just get bad rain from hurricanes and because of the mountainous terrain we get one dinky tornado like every 10 years.

I feel like you think volcanos are a more consistent threat than they are lol

 

Also, I would literally take Jacksonville’s threat of hurricanes over the constant GUARANTEE of having to drive down steep hills on ice 3 months of the year in Pittsburgh

that’s not even a natural disaster that’s just an every day disaster and if you fuck up the people that grew up in them hills don’t have sympathy for you

How do, like, buses operate in Pittsburgh? I just don’t get it lol… the city is too built around a winding river to have too many straight passageways through the city, so they gotta take sketchy unsalted routes on poorly paved neighborhood streets I’m sure

 

luckily for us climate change has made it so we barely get snow in Pittsburgh anymore! I think it snowed twice this winter.

 

they have some bus only roads but yeah some of them drive on some sketchy roads and they do not give a fuck.

 

We don't talk enough about the pros of climate change imo

 

pro: it's gonna erase florida

 

they’re dangerous and they can get ya, definitely get volcano insurance if you buy a house.

 

I’ll consider this when I move to a very remote part of Washington state or Hawaii hahah
