He returned to light court work, but I hope we don’t get eliminated from the playoffs before then. Sometimes we look like our damn bench can beat early seeded playoff teams, other times we look totally lost when we’re missing one of our stars. I think I was right when I argued we’re a borderline elite team with everyone healthy, this season has shown that, but everyone else was right when they said “ok Randall but even if that’s true it’s not happening” lol

 

I don't know about elite, but they're dangerous af when healthy i feel.

We don’t have any true #1 stars but we have like 4 guys who would be a luxury at #2. & we might have the best bench in the NBA. As a TEAM we’re really damn good. But without one guy carrying extra weight or handling extra pressure well on a consistent basis (Zion, CJ, Ingram all do this SOMETIMES but then just simply can’t handle the constant double-teams other games), we are way more vulnerable if any of our key players is out.

We’re missing a huge midrange jumper element to our game without Ingram, for example, and that’s making it way easier to collapse the rim any time Zion gets in close, while still defending the perimeter honestly enough to stop us from getting open threes. We are also missing that extra perimeter defender, Herb is amazing but when the opponent has a Booker who can make shots over him consistently and his defense doesn’t matter, it really affects how much attention we can devote to other perimeter threats. Ingram’s length helps mitigate that and he’s been playing with a lot more defensive effort too even if he’s not nearly as clean with fundamentals as Herb

 

Yeah it’s not even just Booker. They’re out fighting us when it comes to rebounds and loose balls all game. I don’t like seeing people sloppily miss the basketball and constantly get bodied. Not gonna blame Booker’s exceptional game or BI’s injury, this game was never “out of reach”, Pelicans need to play better and especially at home

Driving like an idiot and crashing is one thing, not excusable but I’ve been young and reckless and thankfully lucky (that I couldn’t afford a Lambo) but leaving the scene when you caused multiple other cars to crash is piece of shit level behavior

 

Also dumb. You’re going to be on someone’s car camera or something.

 

I try not to speak too much on car issues cause I was a really reckless diver who raced people and went 110 mph on the highway in my early 20s. I never got in a high speed collision thankfully, but I coulda easily ended up in jail, and not having a car for 4 years had a lot to do with my insurance cost being JACKED UP from speeding tickets and careless fender benders.

But leaving the scene is just fucked up, I get being black and terrified of jail time but you can’t just leave multiple other people in a position like that
