Chris Walla was a chief member of popular band Death Cab For Cutie for like 10 years and yet somehow is one of the most underrated names in all of indie-rock (well, by fans, with bands it’s more of a “game recognize game” kinda deal)

 

It’s already impressive when bands produce their own albums, but to be so good at it that you get signed to a major label and have music videos on MTV and shit, and they’re still like “yeah, go nuts, we don’t wanna get in the way of your process” is legendary haha

He’s a solid guitarist, but what makes him special is his ear for production. Every layer of the song so well placed, guitar tones perfect, etc

Gunnar Henderson allowed them to save an out, his man ended up getting all the way to third, and then KC had an easy sac fly home run cause they still had an out to give

this was a 3-4 game in the 9th inning and now it’s tied 4-4 & might go to extra innings. Because 3 outfielders all ran at the ball but none of them said “I got it”. You saw on the replay Gunnar, the guy closest to the ball, look down at the outfielder and then back up at the ball and lose it.
