Hi everyone (I don't know if this is the right place, thread so feel free to move this post if needed) !

I'm currently working on a fictive streaming service for a school project.
In order to do that we had to create and share this short survey to get a maximum of insights from potential future users.

My little brother who lives in the Oregon forests and would be happy to live off the grid forever is finally releasing his debut record, a decade into writing and recording songs, and I’ve been listening to an advance copy of the album non-stop for the last month. It’s his best stuff and I’ve forgotten it’s my brother at times, because it’s been mixing into the rest of the music I play and get stuck in my head, so very cool and I’m excited for him.

Anyway, as I mentioned, he would love nothing more than to live off the grid and only do live shows so he *just* started an Instagram account and that’s where he exists until his album officially drops later this year. So far there’s some live versions of upcoming songs played in the forest/on the cliffs of the Oregon coast, so also kinda cool in just a vibin’ in nature sorta way.

 

I just started a music channel focusing on album reactions/reviews for bands in and around scene music - emo, pop punk, hardcore, metalcore, etc. I practiced with Paleface Swiss, Holding Absence, and Militarie Gun, and Trophy Eyes and Too Close To Touch are first up for the public, debuting this Tuesday at 8pm EST. Cover compilation of Tv show theme songs and commercial jingles put together by Outcast Tapes Infirmary just dropped today! It's pay what you want on Bandcamp and all proceeds to go to the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund.

Our band did a cover of the 90s commercial jingle the Ramones did for the malt liquor Steel Reserve "Gimme My Steel Reserve". One of our members also collaborated on a cover of the Buffy TV theme song.
