My friend is a civil engineer specifically focused on bridges (he worked on one of the main ones in Boston) and the things he’s told me about our infrastructure terrify me

 

I remember the I-35 bridge collapsing in Minneapolis a decade or so ago, so fucked up

That was so fucked up

this one is fucked too - all because a huge ship lost power

 

that doesn't at all mean that I've worked every day. I think I missed like a week with my back issues and was still answering emails and calls so I was working from home

and one day in January I was going to use PTO because the weather was going to be shitty but I ended up also answering calls and emails, so I never actually put in the PTO request lol

 

take 2 consecutive weeks off right now

 

I cannot

 

I have no coverage at work if I wanted to take more than a day off, it sucks!

but I've got my 1 on 1 with my boss at 9 and I'm going complain again that we need to hire a dedicated warehouse person since my back is No Good
