Long shot but does anyone know if there are any discount codes for their merch store at the moment? Their prices are so good that I'm tempted to buy so much at once but I know I really shouldn't.. haha

 

Jimmy Eat World is a top 5 band for me. Didn't care for Damage at all, which was stunning to me how much I couldn't get into it. I felt like it was too adult contemporary or something.

Integrity Blues feels like classic Jimmy Eat World to me. I'm on about my 7th or 8th listen through and it's really finally starting to hit me.

 

Talking about singles and underrated songs.. what about "Coffee and Cigarettes?" I never see much praise for that one. Definitely one of my favorite JEW singles..

 

Surprisingly, it's one of my least favorite JEW singles. One of my least favorite tracks on Invented, also. I'm not sure why, but I've always felt that way about it.

It's a really good song in context but by itself does little for me

Pretty sure this is an unpopular opinion but I think "Evidence" is one of the weakest songs on "Invented." Not that I don't like it.. but I don't understand why that was one of their few live staples from that record.

 

"cut" is meh. i'm not a fan of how the chorus starts. it's in the bottom tier of the album along with "evidence", "higher devotion", and "action".

I like "Cut" a lot actually.

The bottom tier to me is "Action Needs An Audience," "Higher Devotion," and "Evidence." HD being my favorite out of those three.

 

Invented for me is all about Littlething and Mixtape. Nothing beats their huge, epic sounding tunes

 

I enjoy "Action Needa An Audience" quite a bit.
