DD2 embargo lifts tomorrow morning.

I guess an overseas publication released their review early on accident and gave it a pretty scathing review. 6/10 was the score supposedly. Citing that the games performance on console is unacceptable.

 

Ima put 200 hours into anyway. Jokes on them

 

I’ve unfortunately decided to hold off on both DD2 and Ronin for now due to being 27 hours into Rebirth and only being (checks notes) at ch 5.

 

I'm expecting like an 81 on MC for DD2

 

DD2 is a wild card for MC score. Rarely have I been less sure about how a game will be received.

 

I’d be surprised if it’s higher than 80. The original was niche and this one seems to be catering way more to their hardcore fans that actually indulged in bitterblack isles and the hardest aspects of the first game. Performance has me nervous

 

Yeah if you loved DD1 I’m sure it’s going to be a goat

 

I very much love dd1 but I chipped away at it over a couple years playing a few hours at a time every few weeks with a couple longer binges here and there and stretches of not touching it. Definitely a marathon not a sprint type of game. I treated xenoblade chronicles 3 and am currently treating xenoblade chronicles 1 exactly the same way.

 

BL3 bullshit: first impression, not too thrilled with Amara's fourth action skill, although the skill tree as a whole could lend to some cool synergies.

I'd spent forever collecting all the red-text items in the base game at level 65, the max at the time. Probably won't do that again at level 72. I think I wanna do a quick run through the main quest line just to refresh my memory, then do all the dlc.

I will forever despise that the content dlc and the fourth-skill-tree dlc are two separate season passes, but since i got them in a bundle, eh, might as well try it out.

bundle also included New Tales. Also I just started BL1 with some friends. I think I'll need to continue juggling other stuff just so I don't get sick of this universe again too quickly.

on that note, I've also been replaying RE8 in third-person-view. still haven't started DDLC, but I mean, it sure looks like a cute game. no reason to keep putting it off.

 

Yeah this is how I feel. 80 average is where I'm at. And it's still gonna be fucking awesome.

 

Oh shit Stardew Valley 1.6 came out

 

Can’t read 1.6 and not think of counter strike and so now I’m imagining a Stardew Valley version of counter strike.

 

I wanna get back into Stardew, wanna try it co-op sometime
