The more I look at this, the more I like it. Depending on how the single day lineups shape up I might go for 2 days.

 

According to the email Dashboard Confessional just sent out, they have a tour announcement coming in the next couple of weeks.

 

Diarrhea core is actually a very appropriate descriptor for ADTR because they're poop

Crazy they're playing the Kia Forum when they didn't sell out the palladium in 2021

 

Have they like, not toured since then? Did they have a huge hit? How did they jump to these huge venues?

 

If theres one thing we're good at here, it's questioning venue sizes and a bands pull.

They are playing the same venue here that they played in December when they headlined with The Used, Movements and Magnolia Park. I’d argue the support for this tour is a little stronger and has more crossover with ADTR’s fanbase.

 

Baltimore’s date for ADTR so far. College basketball arena. 5500 cap. They played here when they did that tour with Papa Roach.

 

I forgot they played Five Point in fall 2022 with the used and it did fine I think.

 

Portland is about the same. Best tickets have moved decently but nothing else. It’s just the first day of presale so who knows. I do find it hard to believe they’ve grown that much since their last album received a ton of hate from fans lol

 

Got buttrammed once again this morning with Pulp at the Palladium selling out instantly. At least there's a few more presales for me to try this week.

 

I think the ADTR tour selling well is explained simply by the emo nostalgia wave and a good support bill.

 

It's not like ADTR's last couple albums being mediocre is gonna make them lose all their fans, especially when they probably won't be playing those songs anyways...ADTR still has that 4 album run that is one is the best in the scene. It's not that complicated.

 

The Grand Rapids date has the upper bowl closed off, but the Detroit date has everything open.
