can't remember if this has been posted already but I'm stoked. Never got to see any of the Raimi movies in theaters. Looks like theyre the discounted $5 fan faves at AMC too

Spider-Man 2 and I, Robot in theaters a few weeks apart was a very formative time for me as a 12-year old moviegoer.

 

It was clear

 

not to ~trauma dump~ but i was in foster care in small towns in Oklahoma from spring 2002- spring 2005 so, didn't go to the movies much.

for 3, I remember my parents dropping me and my friend off at the single-screen theater where we lived on opening weekend, but they were sold out, and then I couldn't get ahold of my parents to come pick us back up and we walked like 3 miles back to my house

and then we got yelled at for walking home, wtf

I got in trouble for taking a taxi back from the theater when I was in middle school and then lying about it

 

I live in the middle of the woods in NH so if you didn't have a ride from an adult you were fucked

 

I’m very interested in doing the Spider-Man 2 and Amazing Spider-Man showings.

On the general blockbusters-returning-to-theaters note, I really don’t care about Star Wars anymore, but that Phantom Menace rerelease is super tempting.

 

yeah thats another one I'd like to go see, I think i saw it well after it came out once it was in the cheap theaters. but then I'd have to deal with an audience of star wars fans like @spiffa0

I will not be seeing any of the prequels in theaters again. Been there, done that.

The rangers doing something weird to raise money (somehow?) was such a common thing in the show that I never gave it a second thought as a kid.
