Since Avenged Sevenfold has just released a new album, any guess on a time frame for a US tour announcement and/or openers for a US tour? Considering OM&M's very radio friendly sound on the new album I wouldn't be surprised to see them. Cane Hill would be the perfect 1st opening band for me personally.

Of Mice will probably take a long break in 2017 due to Austin's health. I can see Trivium take their place.

It looks like blink will be overseas doing festivals next summer. Any chance they do more U.S. shows before that?

Obligatory "what year is it?" post.

Haha but of course. I'd actually put in Bon Jovi as a long shot if they couldn't get GnR for whatever reason.

Seems pretty likely. I expect A7X to headline a lot of the typical festivals again this year. I'd be shocked if they weren't the Heavy Montreal headliner but I've been wrong before.

I remember the backlash when A7X headlined a few years ago (which caused the Dying Fetus hashtag on Twitter) but they've grown since then. Plus, the Download crowd wasn't into the radio rock they were supporting at the time. I think they'll appreciate hearing The Stage songs live.

Haven't they been on break for that since like 2014?

They've been back but just recently Austin took a turn for the worst on a European tour. I saw them in September and they sounded really good.

But of course the new album was terrible ;-p

Well, they made the new songs a lot more enjoyable live than on the record haha

Beartooth are still on that tour w/ ETID and FFAK but I get the sense they will announced an early 2017 U.S. tour after the tour ends. Maybe I'm the only one, but yeah...

Shit, that reminds me. Ryan posted a photo on Facebook a couple of days ago of a sold out headline date and mentioned that 2017 may just be the year for another FFAK headliner.

I remember someone mentioning that FFAK will take a break in the Spring....imo, that would be time for a full-on headliner for Deathgrip, but changing minds is very possible

If not Spring, then I could see Fall. If they aren't on Warped for the summer I'll be very surprised. Having a headliner during that time is honestly very very risky unless you have a very big fanbase. Rise Against did it in 2015 and sold out many dates, letlive. did it this year and no sell outs and the date I went to was probably half full if that.

Announcement must come soon then! I wonder who the support will be now...

I wouldn't be too surprised to see Like Moths To Flames. Their current tour supporting TDWP/MMF is almost done, and they seem to be in that category of "band who is on every other tour."

From what I remember, this would be exciting for Chris Roetter, as he has stated before he is an avid fan, especially of All Our Gods. If LMTF aren't too busy writing their upcoming album, they may do this tour.
