Band Twitter account has been retweeting a bunch of stuff. It’s usually not this active. Wonder if some tour news is coming?

I really dug this song when it came out. And yes here's to hoping for some new music this year!

LFG! Easily shoots up to my most anticipated if true. Side note, he made that same analogy on the latest episode of his podcast with Jacoby from Papa Roach. I think it fits well. That was a really good episode. Enjoyable listen.

 

It’s really cool for them that they have the professional and financial freedom that they can have this super healthy relationship towards the band, that sets them apart from many of their contemporaries who seemingly often either need to be all in or all out when it comes to their bands

 

all of them have things in their lives they are passionate about outside of the band, which is kind of rare for a band at their age.

they were great at wwwy so I’m excited to see them getting back to work.

 

i loved generation rx when it dropped, just remember being bummed about how short it was! those first two songs sounded like one track and yah i think it was only 9 actual songs. youth authority was way beefier!

 

Totally agree with this, especially since one of the tracks is an intro (which works perfectly with Self Help). But at the same time, I think it works ok as a shorter album. There isn't much filler IMO, although I'll always take more songs lol.

 

Yeah, I can’t remember the first song name but I love self-help that’s my favorite song on the record

 

I know they’re not actually broken up, but Joel sharing this on his story would seem to indicate they have plans for this year

Millington trying become a Emo Nite band. lol. The songs are fine they just don't do much for me past the OGs.

 

It’s fun but the original just sound so much better, bands like this don’t get the budgets to make songs sound like that anymore lol

 

I really want another album from these dudes. The last two albums are good.

 

Youth Authority is one of their best records imo

 

Life changes is a top 5 (at least) song in their discography for me

 

Yeah it was a great “comeback” record

 

Very easily slots in at number three behind the first two records for me. The first chorus in Makeshift Love is such a “oh we are so back” moment

 

It’s number four for me, but then the gap between four and five is bigger

 

Youth Authority is definitely top tier Good Charlotte!
