At the end of the day these teams (owners) would still rather have a Derek Carr or Jimmy G or Kirk Cousins over a Fields or Lamar or Hurts. Doesn’t matter how exciting they are with their legs, they view it as far more of a risk than a “traditional” drop back QB even though they generally blow them out of the water

 

It’s stuff like this that’s got me shaking my head the last two weeks. They very clearly do have a plan.

Honestly, WR at the 1st round pick (assuming there's a solid one there) and I'd be happy. A better/more dyanmic QB no matter who is behind center, a slightly better OL, and a defense that was top 5ish that only got better.

Still really cant believe this is all Chicago got and that the Eagles ended up giving up more to get Pickett.
