Also I just had “training” at my new short term restaurant job

and by “training” I mean I wasn’t even there for one day for four hours and the manager was like “okay yeah you’re scheduled tomorrow we need a server” lol. I’m so glad they didn’t make me go through the whole damn song and dance for minimum wage training pay again like a corporate restaurant would

Just had the brilliant idea of transferring the medications to a different pharmacy and was able to pick them up. A few hours and I'll be good. Got damn I love drugs

 

My wife has been without her ADHD meds for like a week (I guess due to shortages everywhere) and thought she found a small pharmacy that could fill it, and when she went to pick it up they refused because they would have to sell it to her below cost? Shit’s weird

 

I remember the feeling, fall semester of my senior year, when mid-test I realized that I was taking the last test I would ever have to take (all my spring classes were production stuff, so no written tests). And the best part it was a pass/fail class, so it wasnt even high stress. Just a wave of "oh yeah, dont have to do this bullshit ever again"

 

I am amazed at how poorly different chains even within the same company are run. The CVS closest to me when I was in MD was a disaster...used to go in right before closing and hope there was no line, otherwise it was always like a 45min wait for anything. But the CVS at our previous place was lightning quick. And the Walgreens 3 blocks away, likewise, lightning quick
