Just finished that long sequence in Chapter 9 and now headed to Cosmo Canyon. Time for a break, that was WILD. By far my most favorite chapter in the game so far. I love all the foreshadowing like Barrett accusing Cait Sith of being a spy and Sephiroth actually possessing Cloud like.....wow. So I wonder if that Tifa in the lifestream sequence is gonna replace when she went in to save Cloud in the OG? Cuz we saw her and her memories. Which makes me wonder if Cloud will even go comatose? Now my minds racing as to how the ending of Rebirth will play out! I'm still of the opinion Cloud is gonna die instead of Aerith and then Aerith and Zack will have to sacrifice themselves to bring the 2 timelines together and "course correct" somehow. But back to the Tifa lifestream sequence, wow. Seeing Sephiroth down there. Sephiroth being a badass. The white and dark Whisperers.......now that's super interesting. Remake was the light Whisperers if I remember correctly?? GAH QUESTIONS! Yeah this is what I was waiting for, stuff to veer off the OG story path. I'm sure there's people who either hated it or loved it due to getting back to being weird. I LOVED IT.

Finally really getting through the Junon region, there is so much lol. Part of me wants to progress the story, and part of me wants to do more of the side stuff.

 

Decided after doing 80% of grasslands and 100% of Junon, the rest of the regions I’m going to only do 50% for now

 

The worst quest I have ever done in my entire life

 

I guess this quest is supposed to test your patience but I feel like it’s sooooooooo slow in doing even that.

 

I'm literally doing it right now.(chicken quest).

When I got to that last one and Red told me ITS A LONG WAYS BACK I was like aw fuck no. Thankfully, yeah lol. I was NOT wanting to go all the way back pulling that damn can.

 

I do at least appreciate that they pretty much trolled you into thinking you actually had to drag that thing ALLL the way back to the village haha

 

Yeah the trolling was genius lol.

Gongaga moogle was not fun sheesh. Timed now? And between the moogles still able to attack inside the pen AND the last second hits before rounding them into the pen is BS.

This is how i found out the difficulty can be lowered if you fail enough times hahahaha.
