Lol he had like a 6 game stretch that was pretty so-so. Somethingl ike 8TDs and 10 INTs. He was good. His first season was 100% a success and as Dink said, reason for optimism. All I was saying he def had a lull and when you say things like "best QB in the NFC it makes me want to throw all of the cheese I own into the trash haha

I honestly think about this a lot, it's WILD that so much of JJ's career overlaps with Aaron Donald when the two players are both so damn good. It's hard to find people I would pick over JJ but his career just happened to happen at the same time as one of the clearest answers

I think based on the final 8 weeks of the season he will be the best QB in the NFC - it’s not that wild of a projection that even with a 6 week lull he put up better numbers than the majority of the QBs in that conference (again with rookies as his WRs and TEs whom will also improve in theory)

 

Watt had more run defense responsibility and was still just as productive with sacks

Watt also was elite at batting down passes at the line, he was better at that than anybody

Watt also scored touchdowns at the TE position

it’s Watt over Donald. Donald is the scarier ATHLETE but Watt was the scarier player
