feel like this band hasn't made a song i've loved since the deluxe, which is unfortunate since self titled is my favorite album of the last like, 25 years lol. still curious about this though

well - whatcha think about it. We have a right to be excited?

 

Lots of clean vocals on this one. 2nd verse has an over lay of cleans and screams. Breakdown is sick. It’s the only part that is only screams.

overall it’s good

 

feel like its a different take on their slower side than usual where it really comes across as a more tastefully paced and breathing track. like the next logical step forward along the nigh to silence terrain. i really like it

 

I really liked this. Great track

 

They're 3/3, this one especially feels very different for them. Really like that Jesse is singing in a range that he can actually reach live lol

 

I’m fully onboard after these 3 tracks

They're an absolutely bang on 4 for 4. Love the soundscapes they're creating, how jerky and rhythmic and dissonant these songs are, and this feels like the first time since Augment the mix and tones have caught up to how sick the riffs are

 

i liked, did not love that. at least its better than pale iris and cure tho. some cool contortionist vibes and its lack of real structure is nice after how by the numbers the aforementioned two are, but it didnt really have any crazy standout moments either

agree the mix is huge tho
