Bought store brand dishwasher pods instead of like name brand ones and 3 or 4 times since the pod just doesn’t dissolve, so the dishes don’t get washed at all. But it isn’t happening every time! It sucks! Big Dishwasher doesn’t want me to save money.

When you put a toilet seat cover down in a public restroom but the automatic sensor flushes it away before you even have a chance to sit down.

Videos of "product hacks you absolutely need" and it's always some super niche product that has one very specific use that is absolutely never necessary. And when commenters want to know what it is, they won't just tell them because they want to send everyone to their link tree so they get a cut.

I’ve looked at so many houses and put in so many offers that get beat out that it’s just a common thing now for me to look at a house for 10 minutes and say, “sure yeah, I’ll offer X amount” and not even think for a second that I’ll get it and I know eventually my realtor will call and say congratulations and my heart will sink and I’ll panic that I’m now forever in debt as a home owner lol

When you’re reading a good book and there’s not a good stopping point so you can’t put it down, but you have to be up early and it’s 2:00AM.

Cotopaxi charged me hella for shipping. I’m pissed. I retuned my item and their website said $6 will be deducted from your refund for a return. I think I was charged $15. My refunded was less than what i paid for the item. I’m pissed and will never order from them again

I ordered a lipstick from some sketch mlm brand because one was gifted to me and I surprisingly loved it and ran out. Only to find they reformulated and it isn't the same at all. I have like 10 lipsticks that look exactly like this reformulated one. Nothing noteworthy about it at all smh.

when dudes who are very insecure about their sexuality constantly feel the need to say pause after any remark they make that might be considered in some way zesty

Strong perfume is annoying, especially since I'm allergic to it.

  21. Having to set boundaries with people you don't even dislike. I just get zapped from being social at work and at the end of the day, when the bus driver wants to chat the entire route, I just...don't have it in me. And he's a nice guy. But I just want to listen to some relaxing tunes.

The big one for me has been our autistic mailman at work. He's been there since I was a student here. When I got hired, he only talked to our secretary, and then she left, so I figured what the hell, I'll start talking to him when he comes in. That quickly turned into a 20+ minute conversation every day about his hyper-fixations, which I don't share, and emails every day about history books he's recommending me (despite the fact that I don't really care for reading about history), etc. I've tried to set boundaries with him but of course, perhaps to no fault of his own due to his neurodivergence, he's not really getting it. Really struggling to get the point across without, like, crushing his spirit.

I might let them know one day (now this is an assumption) that you’re far more likely to engage in conversation before work than afterwards. with the mailman, I’d say a similar approach is needed. I mean, there’s no way they won’t understand that. it’s pretty much a part of the human condition in our modern era, y’know. people just wanna be liked and understood and I’m sure you’re kind but it’s not at all unkind to look out for yourself. I’d say do what you need to but do it in a way where if you were on the receiving end, you wouldn’t be hurt or anything by it. which might be a little tough but you’re a smart guy. I trust you to handle it with care

  23. Yeah, the problem is just that I see them at very specific times (different driver in the morning, mailman comes as scheduled during the workday). I'll figure something out. I just want to be sensitive to everyone's needs without neglecting myself. I'm not really capable of just telling people to fuck off (nor do I really want to), even if I do feel that way on difficult days.

When you pay someone to do a job and then find out they didn't do it properly. Hired someone to put up a light only for it to now be basically falling off my ceiling bc he used screws that are too long so it's not fitting flush against the ceiling and the weight of the light is pulling it down. So I tried to take the light back down but the screws are in the most awkward spot and I can't fit a screwdriver in to unscrew them and of course I have no one to ask for help and the guy is not returning my calls to come fix his fuck up!!
