Damn, I just saw Violent Femmes for the first time ever last fall, but I would have geeked the fuck out if they played both these albums back to back.

 

I mean the next 4-7 years are about to the the biggest for albums plays on this site because it’s 20 years of all the millennials were in high school and since the world is burning we want to see eighteen visions half head bang because their 40 rather than think about our problems.

Good points about LN and their various artist management firms. That being said, I imagine guarantees are still based on artist and managers.

 

No Chicago date on that New Found Glory tour... Riot Fest?

 

Maybe openers added later? One for each leg? Being that were announcing dates 6 months from now, gives time for them to wrap up some spring tours

 

No other bands getting added.

 

Two bands makes sense the older the bands and their audience gets. Gives fans time to take care of things before the show or for the show to end earlier so fans can get home at a decent time. No way I could do the normal 4.5 hour shows that we had back in the day with 5-6 bands. Most people show up late and skip openers anyways for these legacy bands unless it’s another band from their era.

 

Pitchfork looks like it may have leaked…Black Pumas, Jamie xx, and Alanis headlining.

 

Guess they couldn't get it together and reunite Oasis and The White Stripes like the Conde C-suite wanted.

Saturday is looking GOOD - Carly Rae, De La Soul, Unwound, Wednesday, Feeble Little Horse, and Hotline TNT is a great mix. If Lolla is weak I'd consider running over for that.

 

Got my Weezer fan club tickets. Floor was about $180 after fees. Lower level is about $110-180 and upper level is about $75.
