Holsten and Astra are the two big brands in Hamburg. Holsten is affiliated with HSV, Astra with St. Pauli. I prefer Astra.

Was probably Schöfferhofer Grapefruit. It's quite nice to have in the summer, just like a Radler.

We started drinking at 11 and didn’t finish till after midnight. No matter how strong it was I can guarantee you I have no recollection of the name :crylaugh:

  3. A lot of people will reply to this and yell about trophies. And I get it. That’s what ultimately matters. And he’s failed in the area.

But I find it hard to argue that Levy hasn’t taken the club to new levels. The infrastructure Dier speaks about here is what can eventually bring sustained and consistent success. It’s been so long since we’ve won anything, I think it’s easy to fall into the short-sighted mentality of “we just need to win a trophy right now”. It’d be nice.

World-class training ground and a world-class stadium are both major projects he took on. And he accomplished those things while keeping an overall competitive team and keeping the club very financially healthy. We are nowhere close to having FFP issues.

I know patience is hard in sports. But I think what Levy has been able to do over the last decade-ish will bring the winning and success everyone wants so bad. And it’s something that will be built to last.

From the outside, it definitely looks like Tottenham have a good structure. Does one person possibly hold them back? Maybe, but we will never know. I'd rather have that structure than other clubs in the top half of the PL

  5. The recruiting and scouting were the areas I questioned for several years. But the last 2-3 years we’ve been much better. Paratici, despite being banned during his tenure, has been overall very good at his job. And the other guys we’ve brought into the front office of club recently also feel like big upgrades. We have so much more young talent at the club now than we have in a long time.

  6. And I’m not saying Levy hasn’t made mistakes. There were absolutely some rough patches throughout. But as of right now, the future looks bright.

I haven't posted in here in a while but I get to watch Spurs/West Ham with Ledley King in 3 weeks and I'm fucking jacked about it.

Stiegl is actually an Austrian brewery, but also sold in Germany in some places.

As the concert is in the Hamburg stadium, I assume Holsten it will be!

Wow. If EVE had any sense in attack MU would be down by 2 or 3 at this point.

Uh, 12 of my 15 players aren’t playing in gameweek 29 of fantasy… why tf didn’t they just merge more game days into that week?!

Congrats to all of you still with your wildcard and free hit.

Yeah, I always save my free hit for the weeks around wk30ish that clash with the later rounds of the FA cup.

I get the idea that the ball hitting load bearing hands isn’t a penalty but I really don’t like the rule. It punishes attacking teams for defenders being able to use their arms. I think it could be an indirect free kick or something

We're playing like we're coasting to victory. We're 2-0 down, lads lol

Every so often we have a lovely bit of passing possession only for one of these idiots to just boot the ball to an opposition player

This was a very lackluster performance by both teams. It’s a miracle that 2 goals were scored in it.
