Probably not, but it's just nonstop heat and humidity for at least Memorial Day through Labor Day. Chicago gets plenty hot and humid but we would get at least the occasional respite, here it's never ending.

 

Pittsburgh has one of the best punk scenes in the country and is a pretty rad city. I was born near New orleans and love it here. Tons of awesome house and basement shows and we've got skull fest and the bassist from aus rotten/behind enemy lines opened up a great diy spot last summer

I love Raleigh. If I had to move back to the US I would only be content with the Raleigh area. Whenever I think of the US, I think of Raleigh, Boba Baba, and Duck Donuts

 

Minneapolis is a great city, and combined with St Paul the Twin Cities area has a great quality of life. Fast improving public transport system, fantastic music scene, amazing food scene, lots of great breweries, incredible health care system, teams in every major sport, great education system, all four seasons, very liberal government, etc

 

My sister just moved to Cary, NC. Wouldn’t consider that a city but that does give me an excuse to explore Raleigh when I visit her because it does seem like a really nice city. Only briefly drove through it and stopped at a park a couple weeks ago when I was down there.

 

I’ve been keeping my eyes open for potential Minneapolis job ops with my current company in the next couple of years.
