Speaking of hilarious managerial "rumours" -

Obviously absolute shit tier reporter, but hilarious how he speaks Southgate in there like no one will notice.

TIL Everton have scored 14 goals from 254 open play shots at goal this season. Grim.

Real Madrid look so poor. City are going to cruise to another Champions League title.

  8. Rooting for the English teams to win all the euro comps so 5th place gets Spurs into CL lol

City, Liverpool, Villa are all realistic winners

I am doing all that I can to rearrange my schedule to fit in the Brighton game but I don’t think I’ll be able to.

Oh, how I wish that was true for my local team that I support for 30 years now. Hundreds or probably thousands of hours spent in trains for away games, where you knew beforehand that you would lose comfortably. Sometimes we were only like 5 fans in the away section (and 5 away fans is currently actually a rather good number in the 7th division).

I still never thought about leaving a game early, let alone after 15 minutes. If anything, I think most Sheffield United fans have never put up as much as I have in terms of seeing your team vanishing into the depths of the pyramid.

“Depths of the Pyramid” would be a great song title on a concept album about a Ponzi Scheme

I didn’t even know there was a 7th division? I thought it ended at 6?

Lol, no, there's generally no specific end. Depending on the region you're in, it goes down to the 11th tier here in Germany. And I think it's even further down in England. It all depends on the number of teams there are in a region.

Here in Berlin, where I live, the regular mens pyramid goes down to the 11th tier (with the 11th tier consisting of 8 different divisions with roughly 16 teams each in Berlin only). But there's also a separate pyramid for leisure/company teams, that is independent to the regular one. And then there are of course separate pyramids for women, and basically every youth level. They're usually not as deep though.

Yeah, my hometown team was in the 5th division for most of my time there. They are now in the 7th (it becomes increasingly regional at the 6th tier) and my current local team is in the 10th tier (Spartan South Midlands Football League, but were in the 12th not long ago.

I’ve no idea how far down it goes but there are 868 clubs in the 12th tier alone.

So what you’re saying is we should all move to the same location and start a club.

  17. I left Charlotte’s home opener at halftime because I was too cold lol

But I have season tickets and my apartment is a ~10 minute walk from the stadium. Made it home as second half was kicking off.

Part of me felt bad for leaving early. But I was cold lol

Would hate to revel in Leicester's misery but considering how some of their fans have wanted Everton to go under...dare I say karma?

They’re setting a precedent for Chelsea (who today announced £90m losses) and City, and getting some quick headlines to stave off the independent regulator.

If it works is another matter.

2-0 Roma. It's unfortunate for Brighton that they're playing against Roma while they are in form.

Qarabag 2-0 up v Leverkusen. No Alonso v Klopp showdown as things stand.

I think Leicester should be immediately docked all their points.
