then they should be forced to change the name to "Rome: Doing Sublime" since there is no actual sublime in sublime with rome, haha

The trick is to think about it in the same way one would think about flavor-infused alcohol...

Like, are there actual Takis in this Takis-infused vodka? No. But there was at one point. So the flavor's technically still there.

If you think Sublime is confusing, look up all the bands playing Grateful Dead songs that play festivals

If Weezer ends up playing Riot with Blue it would be the third time they’ve done it. Sooooo between that and the Flaming Lips together I’m really hoping they don’t play.

Agreed. That doesn’t move the needle at all.

Only because it came on while listening tonight - is it a Dashboard year? Feels like it might be.

Got excited for a beat that Stars might be in the mix but their Set Yourself On Fire tour has dates 9/20-9/22. So they're out.

It would be 5 times if you include the year they had Toronto & Denver

That tour not having a Chicago date is cruel.

Not holding my breath but Springsteen at Riot would be pretty bat shit insane

Not a whole lot of crossover I could see happening. I think 311, The Hives, Action Bronson and Gogol could be play tho

  22. Convincing myself that Bruce is only doing a mid-size festival like that because it's in Jersey and not getting my hopes up.

Kool and the Gang are possible as novelty.. Peaches played in 2017, she's possible.. Action Bronson & Gogol just played in 2022 (I'd like a little variety besides the likes of TBS, Gwar).. Gaslight played last year

Same, but the fact there's a better than 1% chance he is in play is pretty crazy

He wrote Hungry Heart originally for the Ramones, did a 7 inch with Suicide and Patti Smith covered "Because the Night" - maybe he'll give a punk rock discount
