Someone shouted “he’s fucking British” during one of the Aussie Aussie Aussie chants for Ospreay which made a bunch of people laugh tho

The girl who posted it had a "Hangman sucks" sign tonight... That's the same girl who got harassed online for giving Hangman the finger in Chicago months ago (she is a big CM Punk fan)

 

The only small thing I'd say about that absolutely batshit bananas Ospreay/Takeshita match was I wish wrestlers would not do super scary selling. I know you're aiming for realism, but like, you're also kicking out of ridiculous things that should kill a person at one, so maybe leave the fencing posture out of it.

Same thing when Danielson did the seizing. Some people are probably fine with it, but jesus, I hate it.

Still firmly in the "best show in history of the company" camp, though. With so many great PPVS over the years, I think you absolutely have to split hairs to really arrive at a conclusion like that, and thinking back, I just think it did all the little things better enough to earn the title for me, and you guys know I generally dislike a LOT of what they do weekly currently, so saying that is no small feat.

 

Wrestling fans are the worst (except for everyone in this thread of course).

 

Easily AEW’s best ppv. Consistent from beginning to end. Not one bad match

Good: Cage/Garcia, Storm/Purrazzo, Scramble

Great: Joe/Swerve/Hangman, FTR/BCC, Roddy/OC

Best: Ospreay/Takeshita, Sting and Allin/Bucks, Danielson/Kingston

 

It’s a perfect gimmick
