Those mini verse make it minis (I’m obsessed and want to make refrigerator magnets) take fucking forever to cure. The videos where people are using this flash light for like 2 sec (I’m guessing it’s sped up), well I used an actual curing light and it still took forever!! The only thing the test faster was those store bought manicure light but it was hard to tell since my make it mini was mostly already set

 

I just love AMBER alerts in the morning

 

I don’t get people who don’t return their shopping cart to the corral and leave it IN FRONT or super close to another persons car. I think I got a chip on my paint because someone did that. Don’t park far if you’re not willing to walk and return your cart

 

Dutch bros points expiring. I hate how these companies make you download their app to get points, then make those points expire if you don’t use them. I miss their stamp cards that never expired. Many businesses try to change their customer reward system to less benefit the customer. “Buy this and get points.” “Your points are going to expire”. You can save anymore. Ridiculous. They do this so you have to spend MORE money

 

I'm kinda bummed I've never been in the paper for anything. Except the time I was hit by a car but I was like 8 so I was only referenced as a pedestrian lol. Maybe cause im from a small town and it wasnt like that hard to get in the paper and most of my friends were at various different points growing up, but i never was. I know newspapers aren't as ubiquitous now but it'd be cool to have at least one newspaper clipping of me!

Few things feel more refreshing than a clean shave after not shaving for a few weeks. Beards may look cool, but having one kind of sucks.

 

I have been having to resort to getting Aldi store brand soda the past few months. Which is really not too bad tasting tbh. Their diet cola is only about $4.75 for a can 12 pack on Instacart

 

It’s crazy to me that Mount Rushmore exists the way it does. Having enough people agree to just fuck up nature and carve faces into a mountain is so stupid. Like… just make the faces out of something else and not part of the environment like we’ve done for probably literally everything else. Couldn’t even imagine the backlash and firestorm that idea would cause if it happened today.

(saying that knowing full well it’s not like everyone in the country agreed to or was ok with Mount Rushmore becoming a real thing)

I usually shave my face like once a week or every 2 weeks if Im being lazy. Daily shaving would irritate the hell out of my face since my skin is extremely sensitive especially around the neck. Idk how any one does that tbh.

I also tried the beard thing for a while but the maintenance and having to completely change my skincare routine was pretty annoying. Also some beard oils make my skin break out for a while before adapting to the change and thats not fun at all.

 

I don’t know the last time I was clean shaven. I just use a beard trimmer without the guard.

 

I haven’t been clean shaven since 2013. Only time I haven’t had a beard since then was a brief mustache period in 2020.

I’m returning my Cotopaxi hip bag because it was super small. The photos on the website are deceiving. It looks like it’s made for kids. Like all you put in there is your phone. As long as it’s not the plus phone.

 

Let's say you wake up, are up for around 2 hours, then sleep again for 3 hours, does that count as a nap? Or is that just going back to bed?

Like how long between waking up in the morning and sleeping during the middle of the day needs to be to count as a nap?

 

anything more than like an hour shouldn’t be considered a nap imo

at that point you are just going back to sleep

 

I’d say if you’re up longer than an hour it’s a nap.

 

i did that yesterday except the nap was like 7 hours lol

 

My naps are always 2 hours. If I nap any less I feel like absolute garbage and shouldn't even take one. I wish I could do shorter power naps

 

I hate when I feel like I need a nap late in the day, but I know if I nap for a couple hours at like 5 pm it'll fuck my sleep cycle.
