I haven't been watching AEW regularly for awhile, but it seems to me like one right move to refresh would be to scale down production, and start doing TV in smaller more intimate venues instead of major arenas. Leave stadiums just for PPVs. At least for now, then start doing TV in arenas again once the product is more hot.

Playing to near empty arenas creates a snowball effect where it just makes the product look even worse. You're offering wrestlers guaranteed money anyway, most of your income is coming from tv rights fees, you don't need those house dollars that bad.

How come I can't find the Elimination Chamber PLE on Peacock?!?! Only the Pre show. I apologize if someone already said why as I don't want to read this thread and see spoilers. It's 930am here on the East coast and it aired 4 hours ago. Can someone quote my post and answer? Peacock Menu only gives Pre Show option or 2023 Chamber...

The amount of time they waste in between matches on these shows is insane

 

Thought it was a fun show with a great atmosphere that felt at least notable given the WrestleMania developments, despite being one of the most top to bottom predictable cards in a long while.

Certainly helped that the crowd was happy with the output and the idea of having a canon event there, rather than focused on the lack of major star power wrestling.

 

agreed, but atleast for this one since 99% of the USA was watching live we could just fast forward it all. Probably only watched an hour and half in total when all was said and done. Elimination Chamber was way to predictable this year and not that great of a watch. Glad the crowd enjoyed.

 

For what it’s worth what were you expecting?

 

This solidified Eddie as the man to me. Fuck all this talking, just give me a Stat/Willow match instead.

Echoing the statement from above a bit, but I hate how much I'm enjoying Logan Paul lately on here.

So much dumbass energy in between matches, solid in the ring too.
