Kind of agree on first listen. The way his vocals were mixed threw me off.

 

Haven’t listened but from skimming a Reddit thread the mix on the clean version is way worse for some reason?

 

Hmm I dunno, I’m listening to the explicit version and Future’s vocals just don’t seem mixed properly. The majority of the rest of the album’s mixing and production sounds fantastic.

 

I started checking out those dissect podcasts and I need more of those because I’m hooked on learning about the sample usage especially

Doing a big Earl run today and his discography is pretty flawless but I will say, for whatever reason, FEET OF CLAY just doesn't work for me quite as well as his other projects from this area (specifically Some Rap Songs and SICK!)

Anybody listen to new Quadeca yet? Have heard only good things but haven't gotten around to listening yet - haven't really liked his stuff before besides a few songs.

 

Have y’all heard this yet? I think they’re a supergroup. Just absolutely phenomenal. Amazing features too.
