I can't remember anyone's names bc I've been half-watching it when my wife has it on, but do any couples not suck this season?

 

Aside from Johnny thinking he has potent and strong swimmers, him and Amy are kinda fun?

 

i think they’re a very strong but incredibly boring couple

 

I didn't, but I wanted to fast forward every time they came on. Also, essentially threatening your SO to get on BC is a bad look.

 

Got too tired to finish this batch of eps so one more to go tonight but holy shit I could not believe what I was seeing/hearing between Brittany/Kenneth. The guy just became so heartless and cold when they moved in together, constantly on his phone, paying her no attention that she clearly needs, then proceeds to break up with her by trying to convince her shes the real problem, but then tries to play it off cool and friendly in then end. I was losing my mind.


Btw, loved Clay eating soup on the beach then proceeding to bus the table as AD stares at him in confusion the whole time. Favorite part of the season so far.

 

+1 for busing your own table.

 

Yeah, the Ken/Brit thing was disappointing. I feel like Ken talking to AD was the turning point (at least shown to us in the show).

Cheslea is the worst man.

 

The second Jimmy pulled out the 'clingy' card I knew she was gonna go full meltdown. She was poking and prodding at the things that make her insecure that entire convo. Cant really blame Jimmy for much there outside of his very poor choice of words in the moment... not to mention his weird comment about them having too much sex.

 

I feel like he's not into her at all, but doesn't have the guts to break it off himself. All that stuff he's saying seems like he's purposely sabotaging the relationship.

 

they are both being weird about it. acting like he can't just use condoms is baffling but her also jumping to him getting a vasectomy is insane

 

i don't think jimmy's actual point about the sex is weird at all, he just picked the worst person on the planet to say it to at the worst possible time

 

"I didn't even want to have sex with you, and frankly would like to have less sex with you moving forward" mid-fight with a bananas insecure person who is already fired up because you called her clingy is some baffling messaging choices haha

 

Yeah, the sex stuff with Johnny is so wild. He seems so fixated on not having a kid instead of just like wear a condom?

 

Not sure if true or not, but there’s people commenting on Love IS blind’s instagram that Jeramy was engaged with a kid when applying to be on the show.

I saw Jeramy and whoever he was engaged when he applied on the show, they broke up right before the show and he moved out. That’s why his place looks so staged when they went to view his house, he had just moved in lol

 

Not caught up but what is up with Clay? Really strange behavior when he starts clearing Ad’s plate (when it looked like she wasn’t done??) then weirdly staring at the ocean.

“I’m gonna let you down.”

I like Clay. I didn't expect to at the start but he seems like a genuine dude who is trying to better himself. He's pretty self-aware I think. That scene by the beach actually made him grow on me. I think he's sensitive but has trouble articulating his feelings. Also there was nothing wrong with him cleaning up the table--that's actually a respectable thing to do .

 

It could be the editing, but a "hey are you done with this?" prob would have been respectable as well.

 

I just don’t know how many more ways Clay can say “I’m going to cheat on you”

 

Yeah Clay has grown on me too. He's definitely said some problematic and questionable things (that whole gym conversation was, woof). But the whole cheating thing he keeps harping on, it comes back to when he said that growing up not only did his dad cheat on his mom constantly, but he would actually bring Clay with him to these dates and was just open with his infidelity. Having that behavior normalized throughout his entire life surely had an effect on him as an adult.

 

Btw maybe this is old news but I'm just now learning that last season 2 couples were cut from the final edit. One couple there was an accusation that the guy sexually assaulted his fiance while in Mexico, possibly on camera too. The other couple made it all the way to the alter but their storyline got completely edited out of the season due to allegations of the guy being abusive on and off camera. Both are part of ongoing lawsuits:
