Oh yeah we put in new floors on Saturday! Vinyl and it’s waterproof which is great with the kids:

what were the floors before? Toying with the idea of redoing mine in this old 1930’s home. I have old hardwood on two floors. It’s in great shape in terms of looks but it’s SO creaky & loud.

 

Has anyone ever had to paint, or touch up their ceiling?

The guys who did my kitchen really did a number on our ceiling. They had to cut out a lot more holes than originally expected to put in new lighting. They put in new drywall and textured the ceiling but they did not prime or paint it (wasn't in the contract - which I am now regretting).

I'm wondering if I can get away with just priming/painting those particular sections and it all blend in, or will I have to re-paint the entire ceiling in order for everything to match.

 

We had crappy lament. It was really bad lots of damages and the fridge we had broke last summer so tons of water damage.

Also world market had 50% off red sticker clearance items. I'd been eyeing a few things but passed on them, and they were all still available but this time half price! Got a nice mirror originally $124 for like $45 cause i also had a coupon. And super cute drinking glasses for $3 each and some bowls and plates because my bf keeps breaking our and sometimes I've been having to use Tupperware lids instead of plates lol. I wanna frame my receipt for prosperity!

Idk what it says about my maturity in my home decor taste but I often enjoy children's furniture and it's usually cheaper! Just got this coat rack lol



And I bought a kids bath mat from target recently. It was cheaper than the ones for adult bathrooms and it doesn't even look like it's meant for kids imo. It's a lil bit smaller maybe which worked out great cause it was for the small bathroom without much room
