They haven’t said anything in the comments about what it is, but they were recording with Will for most of last month and part of December, so they definitely do have new material.

 

It's gotta be new new

 

Yeah I’m under the impression this is a new song. Pretty sure the two songs they released last year were new too, as opposed to b-sides. I know they hit the studio to record those last year and they’ve been posting studio updates recently for this one

 

Fell flat for me

 

I've had a hard time getting much out of the songs since the album. This one in particular just doesn't really provide anything new and is lacking hooks both in terms of guitar leads and vocals.

 

This is solid. Better than Benadryl Subreddit. Old Wounds has been the best one of the three they’ve released within the last year

 

I love Old Wounds. It might be my favorite of theirs.

 

I need to listen again, but it put me right to sleep after midnight last night...
I love all the guys in the band, but outside of Permanent Rebellion and Sleep Cult, nothing has really hit for me.

 

I haven’t listened to the new one yet but nothing by this band has really grabbed me and I love all the bands this supergroup is associated with. Idk. My sister really loves them! They put on a great live show too. I’m def gonna listen to this song but I doubt they’re ever gonna become one of my favorite bands at this point

 

Yeah this is not great. Feel like nothing fits together until the bridge.

 

This band continues to do nothing for me... sadly.

 

I enjoy all the songs on the album, but the 3 tracks they've released since have been very lackluster.

 

Same. The only song I actually come back to is 2022, and I prefer the solo version.

I like Circa, Saosin, MCR, some Coheed songs, and at least one Thursday album (No Devolucion), but this band isn't doing it for me.

Personally I think this song freakin' rocks.

 

When I started playing this song, I thought I had two songs playing at the same time. Until I pressed pause I honestly couldn't be sure it wasn't.

Vocally I also find the style and range Anthony uses a bit boring. His vocals seem a bit suffocated in the mix too.

I might end up liking this, as I do like a number of songs on the album.. but it sounds a bit of a cacophony at times.

 

Song is an older one. New stuff is coming though.

 

It’s the weakest of the singles post Past Lives. I will keep listening though because of that crunchy bass tone.

i liked this one more than the last two! i think anthony's screams sound good in this one and there's a couple nice melodies in there too. not sure why this song is getting so much hate haha

 

Really only seeing negative stuff here. For the most part people seem to be digging it.

Well me too, it's some practical chaos, but not a miss for sure, also the chorus profits from that when it gets to soar. Not sure why there's this much hate for it here, but it's fine of course, maybe other songs will be to others' satisfaction
