At the risk of sounding agist, Roy reminds me of several late boomer-age folks that I work with that have been working well beyond their prime - and well beyond the point of being retirement eligible here in the U.S. - for no good reason. They appear to be afraid of moving on because they have no identity/passion/purpose outside of their work.

I hope to never be in their position at their age.
