Man I could’ve sworn they played at least one year. That is pretty surprising

The May date for The Decemberists and Ratboys does not take Ratboys out of the running.

Depends on when the lineup is announced, in a lot of cases depending on venue/promoter - Riot couldn't announce them until after their May 21 show - but correct, they are not out

Correct, they'd be a mid-summer add. But I'm thinking that they're going to take the fall off as they've been running hard since the album release.

would love this whole tour to come to riot... no chicago, but ends way to early for all 3 to be linked together in sept, unless there is a 2nd leg

The more potential headliners I see get put in the category of “Out” or “Likely Out” the more I believe we are going to get Fall Out Boy. Not mad about it. I’ve just seen them recently and was looking for something else.

Havent seen FOB since from under the cork tree era, when not yet well known panic! was their opener, so id be down for them (would finally get to see thnks fr th mmrs live haha!)

though they arent in 'need to get close' stature, rather just 'happy to see them'

I kind of like not knowing who any of the headliners are especially if Riot has something out of left field up their sleeve.. I'm expecting a really strong sub headliner lineup though - I just hope it's announced sooner than later

I think we all assumed this because they played last year, but Ride is out. Playing Chicago in May on a small US tour

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

They specifically said they aren’t doing other shows so they’re definitely not on riot lol

“No additional shows. Thanks to the festivals and venues for having us and keeping it HC with no barriers”

so even if they were playing other shows, it wouldn’t be riot fest.

Hollywood Undead is not a name I expect to see at Riot Fest but on the other hand we did get ICP last year so who knows

I personally didn’t want to put them on there but I thought the same thing about ICP. Also they just made too much sense as an early evening act for the Slipknot and Public Enemy fans.

Some really cool stage line-ups in there. A Killers, Siousxie, Echo, Sleigh Bells main stage run would be an amazing main stage run that only Riot could pull off. (Or Just Like Heaven Fest, I guess. LOL)

I really don't think Hollywood Undead is in the same category as Slipknot, Public Enemy, or Insane Clown Posse. The first two are very respected across the board and ICP holds a very unique spot culturally that made them a fit. Hollywood Undead is pretty much a joke unless you listen to bad active-rock radio in a red state. LOL

I think it's also fair to assume Public Enemy and Reel Big Fish are out of the running. Last I read, Flav and Chuck were working together again but it was going to be under a different name. And RBG is just... Not active at the moment for vague personal reasons.

I've also been wondering that, with NOFX and Sum-41 both on the bill how the pop-punk would get split up for the weekend. I've been assuming Sum-41 would skew more toward the 2010s Warped Tour side of things (e.g., Four Year Strong, State Champs or whoever) while NOFX would stick to the old school mixed with some smaller Fat Wreck bands (similar to the PiD line-ups announced for the US dates thus far).
