I could care less about a tag match. That is a weak night one main event. I’d much rather have Gunther or the women get that spot. Glad they are doing Cody/Roman but making it a bit convoluted is pretty stupid when the story is already there.

 

Honestly I don’t see a tag match at Mania, I see Rock being in Roman’s corner though. Who knows maybe Seth in Cody’s corner ?

 

Also Rhea/Becky should main event night one. Are they teasing Gunther/Jey for Mania ?

 

Even if rock will be in shit condition he’s gotta have a match

 

Spitballing but it makes sense, Cody and Seth vs Rock and Roman on night 1, if Cody and Seth win, we get Cody vs Roman on night 2.

Daniel Bryan story from WM30 but you get Seth and Rock to have their WM main event, and a tag team sounds good because both are not in 100% shape to headline it.

Then build for Cody vs Rock at SummerSlam for the title, this is my little fantasy booking but hope it happens.

 

So everyone is still watching WWE despite…..everything?

When Rock was doing his big long lead up to the reveal of that family tree, part of me was sitting here for like 15 seconds thinking… “is he about to show the Moana 2 trailer?”

 

I think there’s several options coming out of tonight that I’m cool with and can get excited about, but none of them are quite as good as just having not undercut Cody in the first place.

 

In my defense I haven’t been here, but I was also asking that question like 7 years ago.

 

Would have been objectively hilarious and maybe peak Hollywood heel stuff

 

i am pretty good at not paying for the fandoms of a lower moral fiber and i think my complicitness is only in the transaction

Yeah, also, having Rock turn heel so fast when Cody was the guy bringing him out makes Cody look real dumb.

Better for them to pivot away and find something thats a solid B+ ending than sticking to their guns (see; Roman/HHH at WM32 instead of just doing Roman/Dean). But Cody didnt need any boost from any of this

 

Cody is the crybabies champion and his fans got the bottle of milk they were begging for

wrestling rules

 

Yeah, I mean, I already have Peacock. They already signed all their TV deals. Me watching at this point (and not buying merch or live tickets or interacting with their socials) isnt really making them money.

Hell, even doing all that stuff for 99% of their shows from 2020->now didnt even hurt them financially, as they still got huge fee increases

 

I don’t keep up with wwe to know what I’m talking about but I love to dunk on cody

 

This is the mode I’m always in as well. Haven’t regularly watched WWE in like 7+ years, but will always happily laugh at dumb shit that they do.

I’m jealous that LA gets that match. I love that Prestige is doing so well in LA though. Filling the void that is missing since PWG has been on hiatus and killing it.

 

Forgot to mention earlier, seeing Roman basically fall in line almost immediately, defer to The Rock and then trail him backstage was a sight. There was some real deliberate intent there.
