Israel says that, but they are lying. They know it is an impossible goal, as does everyone looking at this objectively. Even if they did succeed, a new resistance movement would replace Hamas, probably a more radical one on account of all of its would be members having watched their elders and sibling die at the hands of Israel.

It’s not disingenuous, it’s fact. Israel has had multiple opportunities to bring the hostages home nonviolently and has refused. If that was the priority, they would not have refused. Hamas is also asking for the release of all of the Palestinians Israel is holding hostage including political prisoners and children as young as 12 who are currently being held in military prisons. One side has put together an offer that would free ALL hostages on both sides and the other refused. This is fact. Do you think the 12 year old Palestinians in Israeli military detention should be freed?

US military grounds all V22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft after one crashed in November killing 8 people citing mechanical problems, so the Marines started using the very very old CH-53E Super Stallion heavy lift helicopters more to pick up the load. A CH-53 just crashed yesterday in California killing 5 people. Officials are now worried that if Ospreys do come back that the grounding is going to cause a deficit in flying skills that will lead to more deaths

The incompetence of the military industrial complex has created a domino effect that just creates air accidents and kills people, with no fix in sight
