Not sure, but I like that this show is becoming a playground for comedic actors to show off a different side to themselves.

 

Won't be able to watch the Grounded II doc until later but I saw this which is super interesting.

Didn't watch the whole doc (might play the remaster first), but damn hearing Laura Bailey talk about getting death threats was sad. People are awful.

 

So based on Grounded II, Naughty Dog is very intentional about the marketing they release, and I think that applies to Neil’s closing statements.

So seeing as this was filmed around April of 2023, I can only imagine he’s all but done writing Part III by now, and I’m going to assume it’s in early development. If I had to bet, I’d say 2028-ish for a release, which would make me think it won’t be their next game, but the one following their next.

 

I definitely think the prophet and an extended seraphite back story.

 

I’m really curious what they’re currently working on

 

Posting this in here too. This seems about right given that they’re splitting the game into two seasons.

Makes sense, they can end on that and the Offerman episode revealed there’s enough to be mined in this world to be split. It’ll be great

 

Yeah, if I had to guess it’ll probably be build up to that and that happens in episode 7. Abby and Ellie’s main stories would run concurrently in season 3 until they meet at the the theater and then finish from there. We’ll probably get some new stuff for Ellie/Abby and the Seraphites leading up to it.

 

Haven’t got to TLOU2 remastered yet because I’m trying to finish FF7R before Rebirth comes out but some of the screen captures have looked so damn good. I know it was rather minor improvements in graphics but it’s enough to make a difference. My Twitter algorithm is filled with them now lol

I know at one point someone at ND said that Abby and her crew original were going to show up at the party. I wonder if they'd change the story for the show to have that???

 

It's not necessarily just the graphics, but the overall package for the remaster is just insane. The combat and kill animations / physics are just absolutely second to none. I only just started day 2 so despite having not even gotten to the 'good' encounters yet, I am having so much fun and it's my 3rd time through and there's not even a hint of boredom. It's almost sickening how realistic it feels to be hiding, lure an enemy over, and take them out with one shot with the silenced pistol.

Its just such a good game. The end of day 1 flashback despite being combat free, is a highlight and never fails to make me smile. All the cut scenes just look phenomenal now and the no load time is nice.

 

Chirstmas lights outside =/= prom party.

Also, remind me aside from the kiss, what else happened in Jackson? Did anyone die?

 

Other than the beginning of the game… Confronted by bigot Seth, Joel steps in, Ellie tells him off, then Ellie goes to his house to try to make up.

 

The follow up tweet wasn’t attached but it came from a Reddit post and the user said they were shooting in an old church and they put fake snow around the area so I think that’s why they were assuming it was possibly the dance.

 

I like Tati, unfortunately she won’t be staying on the show long lol

 

Isn’t that the actress from How to Blow Up a Pipeline?!
