I just got around to this and honestly I am shocked. I can't believe these assclowns did a worse job than I had feared they would.

 

Oh don’t mind me, y’all, just gonna think about what could’ve been with Silent Hills and cry over here.

 

I watched the video and besides it focusing heavily on fighting enemies, what's wrong about it?

 

Along with that free game they released after the SoP, I'm so disheartened at the efforts to bring Silent Hill back so far. It feels like they're rushing to release half baked games with the Silent Hill name slapped on them to cash in on the resurgence of survival horror games. I'd be amazed if the Remake is even halfway decent.

 

It’s a monkey’s paw situation, you get a remake of SH2 but it’s from current era Konami

 

I'd rather pay full price for a competent remaster of the original over a remake (although Konami's previous efforts with that weren't exactly encouraging)

 

SH2 is a PS exclusive?

I am, but it's been a long time. I also admittedly watched that trailer without audio, so if I missed something audio-wise, whoops.

The guns sounding like shit is the most faithful thing to the original so far

 

Silent Hill has never been good and now we are just getting it again.

Should have gotten Silent Hills.
