Overall a pretty whatever state of play, but Kojima is fucking nuts

Making a horror experience with one company that’s loaded with guys from that genre of film and making a new espionage game that sounds like it’ll be super innovative with the other company

Also with Returnal I’m pretty interested in Helldivers 2

 

Seeing some Kojima hate on Twitter and I wish those people a very unhappy day

 

That guitar/cyber samurai showdown in the DS2 trailer was sick as hell

 

It's fun reading these comments and not knowing what the hell they're a reaction to.

 

Death Stranding, Stellar Blade, Silent Hill and Rise of the Ronin were my personal standouts. Hyped for Sony's near future output.

 

And Troy Baker nailed the VA. It was outstanding haha.

 

It was a solid showing in some areas, but I'm really hoping this spring/summer they have something good to show us from their big first parties because we are pretty much running on empty from them

 

I’d suspect (allegedly, ya know) the next state of play is going to feature quite a few third party games

 

I honestly have no idea what's even expected for the second half of the year. Everything I know of or am looking forward to is either up until April/May or in 2025.

 

Fucked up and missed most of the stream.

Excited for Ronin as usual, Stellar Blade of course, and now I need to go back and actually play Death Stranding. Never made it too far my first time.

 

Unfortunate

 

Sony is kind of a bummer right now because they have some of the best studios ever and we have no idea when any of their games are coming out and some of them we legitimately don't even know what they're working on

 

I get the frustration, but feel we'd be equally annoyed if they showed something that was exciting but not soon

 

I think that new game after ds2 from kojima will be a new metal gear solid or something new/ similar to the series

 

I definitely would not be annoyed if I heard of a new project from Housemarque, a new Sly Cooper, a new Infamous, a Resistance Remake or HD Port, a new Ape Escape, a trailer for Ghost of Tsushima 2, a new Astrobot game, even if they were not coming out for a while.

I want to know they actually have something interesting coming.

 

What gave it away?

 

I mean, I'm patient enough, but gamers in general have shown to be anything but...

That said, I do agree that I wish we had some idea of what the future holds

 

From my perspective it just looks like Shakriel is having a conversation with themselves, which is pretty amusing.
