Haha I read some of the comments in the thread so I figured something was coming, but it still took me by surprise. Probably one of my favorite songs by them in a while just for how different it is!

Same haha what a cool surprise.

 

This might be their most consistent album... thoroughly blown away right now. It feels very mature and atmospheric, yet within the more atmospheric sound there's still all the touchstones that make JEW such an incredible band, the most powerful they've been in a while.

As someone who also got really into this band in the last year or two, this album is everything I love about them. The atmosphere and "dreamy" quality throughout works so well for them.

put on my LP this morning and this sounds so damn good. it's such good quality.

 

That happened to me the other day too! When I saw I had a notification from Jimmy Eat World I thought it was a joke.

 

It just hit me that "Through" could fit right in with Say Anything's self-titled album. Just imagine Max Bemis singing the song.

 

Why would you want to ruin a song like that?

This feels so fresh. It has a pleasant atmosphere to it. As someone who is a (very) casual fan at best, this album is some of the best music I've heard from them in years!

 

Most underrated Jimmy Eat World song? For me it would be "Littlething"

 

Solid choice. "Feeling Lucky" is a big one for me. Never hear anyone talk about that song..

 

Yoooo, backing this hard. That song is one of their best. I think it's either that or The World You Love (like I mentioned in my review)
