Can someone fix the thread title? Would be hilarious if it were actually called Hoovdy, but alas.

 

Thank youuu, didn't see anything in the Youtube description. Unsure whether I should go deluxe or not. Is the only difference the variant?

 

Black says 140g; Blue says nothing...I hope it would be 180 and not 10 more for a color

Sent it on the deluxe. I don't buy a lot of vinyl for the hell of it anymore, just stuff I really need or preorders for artists I have like complete faith in, and Hovvdy is one of them. I'm sure it will be a nice package.

I saw Ghost Orchard open for Lomelda and Hovvdy in 2019 so yeah definitely then too.

 

Greg Mendez and Lenderman are good recs for sure. Thinking I'll start with Ghost Orchard!

Also recommend Bonny Doon if you’re looking for something similar to Hovvdy, especially their album from last year Let There Be Music.

 

I'd throw Toledo in there as well, specifically their album "How it Ends"
