Problem with this is it'd make 3 of the last 4 MITB winners who failed to cash in, and I think 4 of the last 6. And even then, Brock literally didnt wrestle the match, he just showed up and won. Kind of destroys the gimmick at a certain point.

 

I think they missed the boat on putting the belt on Priest & the Rollins injury complicated things because the other two at the top are also heels (Drew & Gunther). Unless there’s a plan to turn him babyface but he gets such a lukewarm reaction from the crowd.

 

MITB is super devalued and could stand to not be used for awhile (like Hell In A Cell being an annual ppv, not a fan) but MITB is also basically one of the big 4/5 ppvs now so they wont take a break

 

guess Graves is gonna do play by play on Smackdown that will be interesting.

I'd rather they protect the title than the MITB gimmick at this point. Not that Priest outright destroys the title or anything, but it's already an uphill climb with that thing and he'd definitely feel like a backslide.

I'd also have at least some faith in creative under Triple H to maybe shift the way they talk about the briefcase rather than just parroting the "near guaranteed" stuff.

 

They should have just pulled the trigger earlier. Like around the time he won it. He had momentum after the bad bunny stuff and it was semi interesting whether or not they were gonna kick him or Finn out. But then Punk came back, Drew’s looking good again, Rock is some how in the mix. When would you ever do it now

There’s an alternative timeline where they could have done Bloodline vs Judgment Day, but Priest isn’t in the same stratosphere as Reigns in the hierarchy.

I mean, always terrible against WWE PPVs and the rumble with rumors of the rock was always gonna kill them. They’d be smart to move collision to Friday on WM weekend

though if the rumors of SD staying on Friday are true, i wonder if AEW could move colision to monday

 

He’s fine but it just got real muddy with him with these returns.

 

The jobbification of Finn Balor is also a sad thing to see and has ruined judgment day. Its a mid-card stable being presented as a big deal (other than Rhea)
