Not sure where else to post this but they announced what’s going into the new Universal park and there is a Dark Universe section. And I cackled when I read that. I guess the Dark Universe lives after all, just not cinematically.

He has so many great performances, but I think Mississippi Burning may just be my favorite of his.

 

Rewatched Emma tonight so my parents could watch it. Still really good! Anya Taylor-Joy, always a joy. Wouldn’t mind Autumn de Wilde directing another film.

 

I actually watched several Gene Hackman movies for the first time last year. Night Moves, The French Connection, No Way Out and the Birdcage. One of my favorites is still the Replacements. Just a fun movie.
