Watching Batman Beyond on Max and loving it

I watched it while it aired as a kid but it's been sooo long

 

This is what spiderman unlimited wishes it could have been

 

Dumb Money is dumb fun, I don't think it's a waste of time, just don't expect anything profound going in

 

Word. It’s so good. Some really great stuff in there. Kind of wish its final story wasn’t in another series though.

 

The final story being in Justice League Unlimited that Terry is Bruce's son because they took Bruce's DNA and "When Warren (Terry's father) went in for what he thought was a flu shot, his reproductive DNA was overwritten by that of Batman's by nanobots." ?
Is that the story you're talking about? Because it's god awful.

 

Yes. And yes. But it’s canon, so I have to view it as the end of the story. Truly bizarre decisions there.

 

I legitimately don't care if it's canon. Canon doesn't make something good and it butchers so much of what makes the series and characters great.

I know that they fully intended this as the reveal from the start and then the show ended, but like, I really wish they never got the chance to canonize it.

 

I want to write for their comics just so I can retcon it haha

 

Oh, canon absolutely doesn’t mean it’s good. But my brain feels compelled to accept it as the end because it’s canon. It annoys me that despite owning the BB series and Return of the Joker I don’t have the ending. It’s all weird and dumb.

 

Last hour of S2 of Love in the Spectrum is art, so good

 

Me and my wife have been watching it. Tanner is an amazing human

 

I just binged S2 of the US series. So good. That show always leaves a warm feeling in my heart. I wonder if we'll ever get another season of the Australian series.

 

Joseph Morgan is gonna be in the Halo show. Lord.

 

I read Room and then watched the movie on Max and I feel like the movie took out everything I found interesting about the book. The dynamic of them responding to their trauma in ways that were at odds with one another and actively triggering towards the other, the son struggling to learn and to adapt the world around him, the way others learn to adapt to him... like all of that was gone. Which to me was the fascination and benefit to it being from the child's pov and the most interesting part of the story

Edit: hmm maybe I should've posted in unpopular opinions cause clearly the reception/awards were positive. I thought the acting was good, otherwise mid.

 

Been watching all of The Curious Case Of Natalia Grace over the last week... I still have no idea who the bad guy is here. But I do know one thing, that dad LOVES changing up his facial hair.

 

Did anyone watch this The Trust show on Netflix? The show is pretty dumb, and I’m only on episode 5 but this Lindsey woman is a fucking whacko lol

 

It was dumb but I had fun with it and would watch another season. Most of the women were on one this season though.

 

I watched Bloodsport again this weekend; man, that soundtrack SLAPS

Highly recommend Jacqueline Novak's special on Netflix. She's dialed to 11 for an hour and a half. It's equally as impressive as it is hilarious. Incredible stuff.

 

I watched They Came Together over the weekend. I thought it was pretty funny and im always a sucker for a good spoof movie.

 

I lost it during this scene. Holy shit!
