I hate this era of life. I didn't watch rumble lasy night and have tried so hard to avoid spoilers but alas I accidently click my Facebook button and the very first link is "BAYLEY WINS RUMBLE"

Just finished watching. Few thoughts…

- Both Rumble matches were great
- 4-way and US matches ok
- Jade is gonna be a champion before the end of the year
- Always been an Andrade fan, hope he has a better run than last time.
- Cody’s actually finishing the story? Colour me surprised and happy. The leaked fake stories worked on me, even after they were debunked
- Jordanne Grace was the biggest surprise for me. And she looked fantastic. Be interested to see if any other TNA collabs happen
- Pat Mcafee is great. He’s just that right level of obnoxious without it being annoying. I’ve noticed Americans dislike him more than we do over here, though.

 

I had the men’s winner ruined when I tried to reset my network password and they had the news page up behind the new password screen. Good job WWE, really fucked it there.

I don’t hate McAfee as much as most but I also only like him about 5% of the time lol. And I wasn’t really listening to the commentary yesterday but I feel like his tone of voice (always LOUD) gets old fast but there are times where he sounds genuinely in awe of the athletes he’s watching which is nice and refreshing. Cole and others also sound like that at times but idk, they see it all the time for decades while Pat is “outside” of the wrestling world so his reactions sometimes feel more like what a “regular” person’s reaction would be.

I also like when he gets Cole or Graves to break and their reactions are genuine and you can hear them laugh or there’s like 5 seconds of silence because they’re laughing off mic lol

 

Surprisingly I don’t mind McAfee (in WWE at least) when he was there consistently and knew what was going on. Last night he definitely seemed to be phoning it in as someone said

 

Like if you are wired to just find things you disagree with and argue them in a nonconstructive way go to fucking reddit dude you will love it there

 

I could see that. I’m sure part of it is he doesn’t need the money or the job so he doesn’t have to give a shit, prep or really care. He has his ESPN show and NFL money so if someone lets him on commentary and he he gets bad reviews and doesn’t get asked back it’s not a loss to him (but a loss to those listening to him lol)

Such a stacked line up, I get why two nights of WM, but boy does it seem like overload come 930pm Night 2

 

Don’t think we’ll be seeing Brock anytime soon if ever

 

KO/Logan did a post-match angle; so unless they do that at Elim Chamber, thats a WM match for sure. Could see them doing a multi-man thing if Logan wants a showcase.

Bayley says she's challenging Rhea, apparently.

Drew/Sami is a thing they talked about on commentary (might just be an Elim chamber feud setup, but, could easily see it going to WM).

LA Knight, Styles, Orton, and a few others have no obvious match, which is kinda wild...Rumble did fuck all for setting that up. Could also see them putting Randy/AJ/someone of that ilk into the Punk/Rollins match since Punk cant carry 20mins anymore.

 

Gunther v the leftovers from that 4-way match would be a sick IC title match.
