Gotta disagree strongly here. HHH, for decades, was a professional actor and talker. His job was to tell the audience what WWE wanted him to tell them. After that, he was the face of their developmental brand, again, projecting WWE's image. He's THE guy to do the talking, over some random corporate suit. He just clearly didnt care enough to prep a real answer.

Like, Tony Khan clearly isnt comfortable being the public face of the company (he's never natural when he does direct to camera stuff), so I understand a bit him being flustered in a tough press conference. HHH did a 10+ minute free wheeling speech before we even got to a question.

In truth, I suspect 3 things happened. One, obviously Vince stepped down. Two, they got their ads back. Three, they probably had calls with USA/Netflix and learned their deals werent in danger. If thats all true...then true or not, you walk into that presser and dont care what people ask, your future is secure and you know the wrestling media will move on.

I think one thing kinda getting lost in the whole HHH thing is that maybe he’s too close to the situation. Evil people are still regular people that have family members that love them unconditionally. It’s not like it was his random boss that did this but essentially his father. His kids grandfather. I doubt he’s ok with what Vince did but probably has a hard time reconciling his love for the man.

That being said, fuck Vince. Good riddance. But I’ll give HHH the benefit of the doubt for now. Hopefully he can process everything and then come back with a more thoughtful response.

This, I thought it was so obvious that his job was secure seeing Triple H doing more social media hype and on camera stuff plugging the PPV etc. Almost showing us that he's not going anywhere and that TKO fully backs him.

Probably doesn't even need to since I doubt he's even asked anything again.

I think it would be the right thing to do but then again I have some morals. I doubt the lawyers let anyone talk about it

Idk bro if my father in law in 10-15 years was in his mid-70’s doing what Vince was doing (and had been doing for presumably decades), I’d find it pretty easy to tell him to fuck off

I would think Triple H would be down to take action against what has been a major thorn in his side the past few years. Deep down he wanted vince gone. Had to be the case.

i don’t think he knew much of anything. This was top secret gross, vile behavior. It’s not a lot of effort to keep secret stuff like this to anyone let alone your son-in-law.

What is Vince gonna tell triple H he is coercing an employee into sex by threatening legal action and being fired if she doesn‘t comply? Thats dark to the grave stuff, thank god it came to light.

As would I. But I’m just saying you hear those stories about people who’s family members do horrible things but their families stick by them

There had to be some kind of rumors or something though. Especially if he’s telling 12 random crew people. I could see Lauranaitis keeping his mouth shut

The company was built on catch phrases and slogans. Weird he doesn’t like it when it doesn’t belong to them.

For what it’s worth and I know they are two different situations but my brother in law had an affair behind my sisters back for 3 years and we all had no idea. I’m not saying hhh is clean but I’m gonna try to give him the benefit of the doubt of not knowing about Vince’s second shitty life.

It was in one of the texts from Vince to the girl that he showed it to people. I mean I guess he could have just been showing them pics and they didn’t know fully what was going on

He just wanted to take a shot at Tony. Tony takes his shots. It’s fun.

Was your BIL showing everyone in the extended family every week and making arrangements? The stuff Vince was doing was also reportedly out in the open and discussed with multiple people. I get wanting to extend the personal grace to trips but this is such an outlandish and wild abuse of power, not a simple case of cheating

  23. I believe it was mentioned in the lawsuit that Vince was showing the girls nude photos to at least a dozen people in production or something and essentially talking about having a giant orgy. It was some pretty nasty shit

  24. I cropped the texts out because it’s awful. I don’t want to assume that anyone is guilty by association like HHH but if some random dude named Jim in production is seeing this shit. You’d assume it would get around

I don’t think this Vince story goes away even in wrestling news. It’s being picked up internationally and it’s hard to imagine more details/accusers not coming out over time. HHH/TKO/WWE should continue to get grilled over it.

  26. broken22

Absolutely not and I absolutely agree with you, and no he didn’t but as I can tell you I found out it went beyond the cheating. I guess what I’m saying is it’s completely possible not to know about someone’s double life. But you do absolutely have a valid point though
